FEES
Under the act on attorneys in effect, the attorney’s fee is open to free negotiation. We always agree on the honorarium in advance, together with the client, on the occasion of the first consultation, and record it in the attorney retainer agreement, together with the expenses to be expected in the case in question.The honorarium may be: fixed, per hour, percentage, success fee or the combination of these.
A fixed honorarium is usually applied in company incorporation (modification) cases, family-law cases, payment orders.
A percentage is applied in real estate sale-purchase, donations, and in the preparation of certain contracts.
We charge an hourly fee for the first consultation, the amount of which is HUF 25,000 / hour (for consultations in Hungarian) or 100 EUR/hour (for consultations in English or Romanian).
The amount of our honorarium depends on the complexity and the time-frame of the case, the value of the subject of the transaction, and the extent of the attorney’s liability connected to the execution of the assignment.
